Erik Ten Hag Announces Manchester United’s Next Captain

 The manager of Manchester United, Erik Ten Hag has confirmed the player that will lead the team from the dugout next season.

The Dutchman who was speaking in an interview confirmed that he will continue with Harry Maguire as the club’s captain going into next season. The English man has been under a lot of criticism from supporters of the Red Devils since last season but Ten Hag has insisted that he would not pick a new captain.

Harry Maguire is the captain. I have to get to know all the players, but he’s an established captain and he has achieved a lot of success.

Maguire was dropped as the club’s captain last season by interim manager, Ralf Ranginck following the club’s inability to keep a clean sheet. Ten Hag will hope that his decision to keep Maguire as the captain of the Red Devils will bring success to the club.
