Ogun Council Of Baales Endorses Senator YAYI For 2027 Governorship

 

The Ogun State Council of Baales has formally endorsed the governorship ambition of the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, CON, FCA (YAYI), following a consultative meeting held with the lawmaker.

The meeting provided an opportunity for the traditional community leaders to engage Senator YAYI on issues affecting their various communities. The Baales extensively highlighted developmental challenges and expressed their expectations for a government that prioritises grassroots development, security, and inclusive governance.

Responding, Senator YAYI assured the traditional rulers of his commitment to building an administration anchored on inclusiveness, equity, and sustainable development, stressing that every stakeholder would have a place in the governance of Ogun State.

At the end of the engagement, the Ogun State Council of Baales unanimously declared its support for Senator YAYI’s 2027 governorship aspiration, expressing confidence in his leadership capacity, track record of public service, and vision for the state.

The endorsement further strengthens the growing wave of support for the APC governorship candidate across different segments of Ogun State, as Senator YAYI continues his consultations with key stakeholders, presenting his agenda for a more prosperous and inclusive Ogun State.
