TOO BAD!!! Husband, Wife And New Born Baby In Prison Over Murder (see shoking reason)

A 38yrs old man Bernard Inya, his wife Chinyere (34), their 2-month-old baby have been remanded at the federal prisons in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State over the death of a lady in their community.

The accused persons hail from Ezi Nwachi Ndibe in Afikpo North area of Ebonyi state.

The couple was arraigned by the police at the magistrate’s court on charges of murder.

The offence is punishable under Section 324 of the Criminal Code Law Cap 33 Volume 1 Laws of Ebonyi State of Nigeria 2009.

According to Southern City News, the mother of the baby Chinyere had pleaded while on dock that she should be granted bail for the sake of her baby but her plea was not granted by the magistrate.

After listening to the plea of the accused, trial magistrate, Nwachi Olughu, ordered that the accused persons be remanded in prison custody.

The magistrate also ordered that court processes be forwarded to Directorate of Public Prosecution for legal advice.

The matter has been adjourned to January 20, 2017, for hearing.
