Burna Boy & Seun Kuti’s Performance Put On Hold As 2020 Glastonbury Festival Gets Cancelled Due To Coronavirus

Nigerian singers would no longer be performing at the 50th edition of the annual Glastonbury which takes place in the UK.

The singers were scheduled to perform alongside top acts like Paul McCartney, Taylor Swift, Diana Ross, Kendrick Lamar, FKA twigs, Thom Yorke and more on the festival’s 50th-anniversary lineup. However, due to the spreading coronavirus, the festival will no longer hold this year.
In a statement made by the organizers via their official Twitter page, the event had to be canceled due to the new government measures to prevent further spread of the virus.  “We are so sorry to announce this, but we are going to have to cancel Glastonbury 2020. Tickets for this year will roll over to next year. Full statement below and on our website. Michael & Emily”
