“I Want To End My Life” - OOU Final Year Student Cries Out After An Extra Year (Photos)

A 400l student of Olabisi Onabanjo University, with the Babatunde Rofiat, has publicized her intent to commit suicide for being given an Extra Year in the school.

She made the outcry on her Twitter, stating that she was being held back in the school for a singular “required” course, which according to her used to be pardoned. She then claimed to be frustrated and suffering and would want to “end this life“.

Some sources who begged anonymity said that she’s not the lone affected person. An anonymous source claimed that some tens and almost hundreds of students were also affected by departments like Sociology and Political Science.

Suicide is now prevalent in society and this is one of the reasons youth take their lives.

I have tried all my 4yrs in OOU, through thick and thin, to survive and get educated at the same time. But just a required course, and they are giving me an extra year? Why?? I am frustrated & I suffering.

I am sorry I can't take it anymore. I have to end this life!
