Wizkid visits Fela’s New Afrika Shrine with British rapper Skepta

Nigerian pop star wizkid  dropped by at late Afrobeat legend Fela’s New Afrika Shrine on New Year’s Day.

The visit took place on the day his homecoming concert would have held at the venue.

But Wizkid cancelled that show and a few others based on doctors’ orders.

The concert cancellation was bad news for Nigerian music lovers that have been waiting a long time to see Starboy live on stage.

Meanwhile, British rapper, Skepta – who was featured on ‘Ojuelegba remix‘ – also hung out with Starboy at the Shrine.

Wizkid arrived Nigeria in the last days of December 2016 after spending many months in Los Angeles, U.S.

He was honoured with the Artiste of the Year and Best African Artiste awards at The Headies and Soundcity MVP awards 2016, respectively.
